Il Giardino della Luna
“The Garden of the Moon” is the renowned former Convent of SS. Annunziata situated in the beautiful green hills of the Lunigiana region, a few kilometers from the sea. This land, between Liguria, Tuscany, and Emilia, is full of lush green vegetation with olive groves, vineyards and chestnut trees and has been an important region of historical and artistic heritage for centuries.
In 1730, the complex was sold to the Mazzini Turriani family who transformed the property into a prestigious residence. Recently the property was restored with excellent architectural rigor; its gates reopened to lovers of ancient atmospheres and guests looking for silence, healthy food, and renewal.
The main residence has 11 large bedrooms with private baths, all with original features, including frescoes and antique art and furnishings. There is also the owner’s house with two bedrooms, a shared bath and a small pool. The original chapel adjacent to the property has also been restored and provides a place for reflection and contemplation. The residence is surrounded by a large park, rich in water sources and a considerable variety of native tree species, where you can walk immersed in the colors and scents of the wild and sweet nature of Lunigiana.
